Centrally located between Richmond and Charlottesville Virginia, this historic Georgian-style mansion with Palladian windows is perfect for a cocktail reception of 50-75. Add a tent for seated dinner receptions.
A picturesque ballroom with a large bay window looks out to a long eastern view of the meadowlands and horse paddocks.
A magnificent huge magnolia graces the garden for your pleasure. Newstead can accommodate tented events for up to 200 guests within the eleven acre white board fenced grounds.
For beautiful photos, an elegant staircase awaits the bride.
A 1905 Steinway O graces the twelve by thirty-seven foot grand hallway.
Use of the Steinway is included in the rental fee.

$300.00 - garden fee *applies only if placing chairs, tables, tent on lawn*
SECURITY DEPOSIT: $1,000.00 - refundable after event

SECURITY DEPOSIT: $1,000.00 - refundable after event
Deposits and Guarantees: A nonrefundable deposit of $2,000 is due at the signing of the contract.
25% of the final bill is due six (6) months prior to the function. The remaining balance is due in full 72 hours prior to the function. A cashiers check or money order is requested for final payment. The guarantee of guest counts and meal choices are due 72 hours prior to the function.
